Film Centre of Montenegro will participate in Focus Digital 2020 film market, taking place in London virtually 15-17 December, where it will promote Montenegrin filming locations to international productions and location managers. This year, the market will take online format due to COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of this year’s edition of FOCUS, the organizers will distribute an e-version of their landmark “Makers” magazine to all exhibitors and visitors. This month’s edition will feature an editorial on filming incentives and opportunities in Montenegro, among other Adriatic countries.
During the three days of FOCUS Digital, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich program consisting of lectures, panels, master classes, workshops and presentations, related to film, TV, marketing, animation and video gamesindustries. The main theme of this year’s program is “The Future of the Audiovisual Industry”. The program aims to come up with new ways to make the industry more adaptable, with the help of lessons learned during this challenging year.
To ensure that it is fully tailored to the needs of the industry, the FOCUS 2020 program was developed in cooperationwith the Advisory Committee for Program Content, which includes representatives of leading industry bodies – Pact, The Production Guild, UK Directors, BFI, BFC, UK Screen Alliance, Creative Europe UK, ScreenSkills and Advertising Producers Association.
The moderator of the program is Sue Hayes, while the program is presented in collaboration with the Variety magazine as the main media partner.
Representatives of the Film Centre of Montenegro, Marija Nikčević and Marko Eraković, will be available to registered participants of FOCUS for all information regarding the filming incentives program in Montenegro. A series of meetings has already been scheduled with location managers, representatives of film funds and film centers, production companies and film services.
