Cineplexx Delta City is part of the Cineplexx International, that was founded in 2009. in Vienna.  The first company to be opened as part of this new entrepreneurial constellation, outside Austria, is the Cineplexx Bolzano in Italy.

2011. and 2012. came Cineplexx cinemas in Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia and Macedonia. In May 2013, the company continued to expand with five Cineplexx Multiplex cinemas in Slovenia. The final point for 2013 was the opening of the first 7-room cinema in Albania on December 12, 2013.

Cineplexx Delta City was opened on November 10. 2011.  The opening night featured a film by Montenegrin director Branko Baletic “Local Vampire”. Since November 10th, the audience in Podgorica has been given a completely new cinematic experience and cinematic enjoyment.

Cineplexx Delta City is equipped with the newest digital devices that deliver extremely high images and sounds, as well as 3D technology in all 6 cinema halls in Podgorica.

The Cineplexx group currently operates 50 Cineplexx cinemas and 6 traditional locations with a total of 303 screens in 11 countries and employs around 1,500 people. Cineplexx welcomes over 12 million guests to the cinema every year, generating around 140 million euros in sales.
