Film Centre of Montenegro has participated in this year’s edition of European Film Market, part of the Berlin Film Festival, that took place 1-5 March in online format by showcasing the current state of its film production to European film professionals, exhibitors and accredited visitors through its virtual stand on EFM’s online platform.
Film Centre of Montenegro offered information on the current Montenegrin productions and co-productions, film festivals, filming locations and incentives, and industry contacts. The representatives of the Centre took part in numerous webinars, masterclasses, roundtables, presentations, and online meetings with current and potential partners, as well as partner organisations, aiming to further the networking and cooperation opportunities.
Film Centre of Montenegro’s virtual stand at EFM 2021 presented two E-publications: “Montenegrin Cinema 2021”, offering an overview of current film production, and “Film Destination Montenegro”, a comprehensive catalogue on Montenegro’s filming incentives programme with an overview of filming locations, industry contacts and other service information, all part of the Film Centre’s “Film in Montenegro” incentives programme, headed by Marko Erakovic.
Creative Europe’s MEDIA Desk representative Marija Nikcevic took part in numerous meetings, webinars, and panels related to MEDIA sub-programme.
